Music Question
|
Lots of you on here have a far bigger knowledge of music than me. In the mid to late 90's I went to a low-key Sunday night gig at The Leadmill in Sheffield with The Longpigs the main act. The support act were Embassy, who I think were from Kent/SE London. I'd heard one single of theirs previously, Boxcar AM. But there is no trace of them on the internet or YouTube. Can anyone remember Embassy?

I say duo but my brother who was also at the gig said they were a 3 piece!
Thanks again for finding that flyer for the tour, just wish there was something about them on the internet, everything else seems to be on there!

Oh well I never knew it was a duo
Try asking the question on the Longpigs Facebook group, someone might have been there

Excellent, that flyer has the gig on it, a Sunday at The Leadmill. That's progress, I failed to find any mention of the gig myself. The band was a two-piece so not the Embassy that you found after that.

Embassy were a vegan, feminist emo band, active in the early-to-mid 1990's (late 1993 to 1996). Embassy was Jeff Wapner on Vocals, Jeff Capra on Guitar, Brian Tamborello on Drums and Dan Judd on Bass. The final line-up also featured Cabe Fletcher on Bass and Backing Vocals and Mike Schumann on Guitar.
